Billy Steen, Senior Pastor
Billy Steen is the founding pastor of All Souls Church. He is a graduate of California State University Sacramento, Fuller Theological Seminary, and is a doctoral candidate at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. His prayer and desire is to establish the church with a solid biblical foundation based on the faithful exposition of the Word of God. And by doing so, to be an impetus for pastoral renewal and church reform.
Billy served as senior pastor of a Granite Bay, California church for 25 years. He also served as an Army Chaplain for 35 years, including 15 years of active duty service with deployments to Landstuhl, Germany and Baghdad, Iraq, prior to moving back to South Placer.
Eric Rainwater, Music Minister
Eric graduated from Azusa Pacific University in 1989 with a B.A. in Musical Composition, and a minor in Choral and Orchestral directing. The University honored him and two other candidates from the School of Music with the “Inaugural Academic Hall of Fame Award 2000″ for excellence in using his talents to serve the Lord. Eric appears in the 2003, 2005, and 2006 editions of “Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers.”
Eric has taught and led choirs and drama groups since the age of 18. From 1989 to 1992 Eric taught full-time at a Christian school, teaching all music classes and choirs. He now teaches home school students from all around the greater Sacramento area. Eric has created well over thirty musicals, some of which are published and performed locally and globally.
Eric is an able performance instructor for all band instruments, guitar, piano, and voice. Eric’s was Minister of Music at Fair Oaks Presbyterian Church before coming to All Souls. His incredibly talented wife Candy has serves alongside him.
